Rejected by Multiple Firms Including Societe Generale? Reset Strategy for Graduate Scheme 2027

Multiple rejections — including from Societe Generale's Graduate Scheme 2027 — feel personal, but they usually point to one systemic issue in your approach. Finding it changes everything.

Finding the Pattern

Map every application by stage reached:

• All failing at online assessment? Your timed test skills need work, not your CV.
• All failing at Online Assessment? Structure and delivery need rebuilding.
• Mixed stages? Your written application may be underselling you.

One pattern means one fix — which is good news.

The Systemic Fixes

Application quality over quantity: 6 excellent applications beat 20 rushed ones. Tailor every "Why Societe Generale?" with firm-specific research.

Stage-specific drilling: Whatever your pattern stage is, do 4 weeks of focused practice before sending another application.

Timeline discipline: Apply in the first half of each firm's window. Late applications face fuller pipelines.

Protecting Confidence

Separate your worth from outcomes. Graduate Scheme 2027 schemes in Hong Kong reject thousands of strong candidates yearly. Treat each cycle as iteration, and keep a log of what improved — visible progress sustains motivation.

Reapplying to Societe Generale

Check the firm's official careers page for reapplication rules, which may vary by role and region. When you return to Societe Generale, come back with the pattern fixed and new evidence — that is the strongest possible reapplication.
