Rejection after RSM's Graduate Program 2027 Online Assessment is frustrating because you cannot see your scores. But video interview performance breaks down into diagnosable parts — and each has a fix.
Diagnosing a Video Interview Rejection
Ask yourself honestly:
- Structure: Did every answer have a clear point, example, and close? Rambling is the top killer.
- Energy: Did you sound engaged? Flat delivery tanks scores even with good content.
- Examples: Were your stories specific and relevant, or generic?
- Technical: Any audio, lighting, or background issues that distracted?
The Fix: Record, Review, Repeat
1. Pick 5 common RSM-style questions.
2. Record answers with the same time limits as the real Online Assessment.
3. Review each recording with a checklist: structure (0-2), example quality (0-2), energy (0-2).
4. Re-record only your two weakest until they score 5+.
Most candidates improve dramatically within 2 weeks of this drill.
What Assessors Scored
In the RSM Graduate Program 2027 Online Assessment, assessors (human or AI-assisted) typically score communication, motivation, and competency evidence. Generic answers that could fit any firm score poorly on motivation.
