Feedback after a Lazard Graduate Scheme 2027 rejection is valuable but not always available. Knowing how to ask — and what to do when no feedback comes — keeps your improvement on track.
When Firms Provide Feedback
Some employers offer feedback calls or written summaries, usually after later-stage rejections. If Lazard offers it for the Graduate Scheme 2027 in Hong Kong, accept promptly and take notes on exact phrases assessors use.
How to Ask Professionally
Keep it short and gracious:
"Thank you for considering my application for the Graduate Scheme 2027. I would welcome any brief feedback on areas to develop, as I hope to strengthen a future application."
Send it within a week of the rejection. One polite request is enough — do not chase.
If No Feedback Comes
Most early-stage rejections (online assessment, Video Interview) come without feedback due to volume. In that case:
- Ask a careers adviser to review your application materials.
- Compare your preparation against successful candidates' reported experiences.
- Focus on the most likely weak stage and drill it.
Turning Feedback Into Action
Convert each feedback point into a dated practice goal. "Improve commercial awareness" becomes "read one Lazard-relevant business story daily and summarise it in 3 bullet points."
Reapplying to Lazard
Check the firm's official careers page for reapplication rules, which may vary by role and region. Use feedback-driven improvements as the core of your next application — assessors want to see that you listened.
